“Looking” for an Optometrist in Austin Texas?

Dr. Casey Packer is a certified optometric glaucoma specialist and therapeutic optometrist in Austin, Texas.  He was born in Garland, Texas, but raised in East Texas.  He attended the University of Texas at Austin receiving a degree in biology.  He then enrolled in the four year doctorate of optometry program at the University of Houston.  He completed an externship at one of the most successful Austin optometry offices and then another externship at St. Erik’s Eye Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden.  After moving back to Austin he opened his practice, Lone Star Eye.  His rotations specialized in ocular disease, keratoconus, glaucoma, pediatrics, and custom contact lens fitting.

Dr. Packer continues to volunteer services throughout our community and those internationally.  Most recently he participated in a medical mission trip to Ecuador where his group examined over 1,500 underprivileged patients in a two week period.  Come experience healthcare the way it should be.
